How to Crochet a Belt
Quick & easy crochet belt tutorial for any skill level! This boho inspired belt is a fabulous accessory that you can whip up in no time. Grab your hook and follow along the video tutorial below. The free written pattern can be found below the video as well!
Materials needed:
2mm recycled cotton cord from Ganxxet (You could also use 2mm macrame cord from the craft store. Traditional cotton yarn tends to be too flimsy.)
I used an old belt buckle I already had but you can also purchase them from the craft store.
6mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Skills Used:
Slip Knot
Single Crochet
Slip Stitch
Half-Double Crochet
Single Crochet two together

Instructions:
Begin with a Slip Knot
Slip Stitch around the middle post of the belt buckle
Rotate buckle so that you’re looking at the backside
Row 1:
Single crochet x2 on each side of the buckle post
Chain 1 & turn
Row 2- Length Desired:
*Half double crochet x 4
Chain 1 & Turn*
Repeat from * until you have the length desired
Finishing Rows:
Single crochet the first two stitches together
Single Crochet the last two stitches together
Chain 1 & Turn
Skip the first stitch and slip stitch in the last stitch
Tie off & weave in the ends!
